Saigon City Hall, also known as the Hall of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, is the office of the Ho Chi Minh City Committee. It is located in District 1, the major trade and financial hub of Ho Chi Minh City — Vietnam’s largest city. Built in 1902 and completed in 1908, this building boasts a strong French architectural style, with pale yellow walls adorned with many intricately carved figures from Western mythology, making it truly exquisite.

Saigon City Hall has only two floors, and although not very tall, it covers a large area. Its white exterior and the detailed carvings around the arched windows all reflect the meticulous craftsmanship of French design. It can be said to be the most beautiful building in all of Saigon. Before reunification, it served as the presidential palace of South Vietnam. Today, it continues to function as a government office. When this massive structure was first built in 1901, it sparked considerable controversy, as it was originally intended to be a luxury hotel.

After renovation, the architect added an elegant clock tower to its 66-meter-high façade, decorated with mosaic finishes, giving the entire building a more refined and harmonious appearance. Inside, the fine decorations are lavish and ornate. Sculptures depicting figures from Western mythology and French heroes adorn columns, doorframes, and eaves. Especially striking are the brilliant crystal chandeliers that lend the interior a serene and elegant atmosphere. In the evening, when the lights are turned on, the entire Saigon City Hall becomes stunningly radiant.
