Officially named the “Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica,” this Catholic cathedral is the largest church in Ho Chi Minh City. The red bricks used for its exterior walls were imported from France during the colonial period and have never faded. However, the interior of the Notre-Dame Cathedral is currently under renovation and is expected to reopen in 2020.

The Saigon Central Post Office is the first post office in Ho Chi Minh City, blending French architectural style with Vietnamese decorative elements. Its butter-yellow façade is accented with white and green in a symmetrical and elegant design.

The interior features a stunning high-ceilinged hall with arched designs. In addition to handling local postal services, it also offers postcards and stamps. There is an area with tables and chairs where visitors can write and send postcards on the spot, as well as a selection of souvenirs for sale.

9.Book Street (Đường Sách TP.HCM)）
Located in District 1, adjacent to the Saigon Central Post Office and the Notre-Dame Cathedral, these three attractions are very close to each other. Book Street is a must-visit pedestrian street for book lovers. One side of the street is lined with small independent bookstores, while the other side features cozy cafés where people can sit, read, and enjoy a meal. Strolling under the shade of the trees on both sides keeps you cool.

10.The Cafe Apartment
This café apartment is a repurposed old residential building that still retains traces of its past as housing for military personnel. A nine-story apartment building now houses a variety of uniquely styled cafés, along with a few clothing and nail salons. The first floor has a paid elevator. When viewed from the nearby Nguyen Hue Walking Street, the Café Apartment’s distinctive and beautiful retro appearance has made it a super-popular Instagram photo spot.
