Officially named the Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of The Immaculate Conception, it is the main Catholic cathedral and the largest church in Ho Chi Minh City. The red bricks used to build the exterior were imported from France during the colonial period and have not faded to this day. However, the interior of the cathedral is currently under renovation and is expected to reopen in 2020.

8.Saigon Central Post Office (Bưu điện Trung tâm Sài Gòn))
The Saigon Central Post Office is the first post office in Ho Chi Minh City, featuring a blend of French architecture and Vietnamese decorations. Its butter-yellow exterior is accented with white and green, creating a symmetrical and elegant look.

The high-ceilinged, arched interior design is also breathtaking. In addition to handling postal services for locals, it offers postcards and stamps. There is an area with tables and chairs where visitors can write and send postcards on the spot, and the office also sells a variety of souvenirs.

Located in District 1, adjacent to the Saigon Central Post Office and Notre-Dame Cathedral, these three attractions are very close to each other. It’s a must-visit pedestrian street for book lovers. One side of the street is lined with small independent bookstores, while the other side features cafes where people can relax, read, and enjoy meals. 10.The Apartment by Café

This café apartment is a repurposed old building that preserves traces of previous residents who were government and military personnel. The nine-story apartment houses various cafés with distinct styles, along with a few clothing and nail salons. There is a paid elevator on the first floor. Viewed from the opposite Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street, the unique and beautiful façade of the Café Apartment stands out, and its diverse retro appearance has made it a super-popular Instagram hotspot.
