Vietjet announces daily Taipei-Hanoi flights; Ho Chi Minh City–Kaohsiung route to launch by year-end

To meet growing travel demand and promote regional integration and economic trade,Vietjet Air held a new route announcement ceremony in Kaohsiung today (19th), unveiling two new routes: Taipei–Hanoi and Kaohsiung–Ho Chi Minh City. Kaohsiung Deputy Mayor Shih Che stated at the event: “Kaohsiung boasts convenient land, sea, and air transport links, making it a key gateway for international tourists entering southern Taiwan. We hope that Vietjet Air will open more Vietnam–Kaohsiung routes in the future to create business opportunities with Kaohsiung.”

The Taipei–Hanoi route, launching on October 30, will operate daily with a one-way flight time of 2 hours and 45 minutes. The outbound flight departs from Taoyuan Airport at 7:10 p.m. and arrives in Hanoi at 9:20 p.m.; the return flight departs Hanoi at 2:05 p.m. and arrives in Taoyuan at 6:00 p.m.

The Kaohsiung–Ho Chi Minh City route, launching on December 12, will operate five times weekly (on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays), with a one-way flight time of 3 hours and 30 minutes. The outbound flight departs Kaohsiung at 8:15 a.m. and arrives in Ho Chi Minh City at 10:45 a.m.; the return flight departs Ho Chi Minh City at 2:10 a.m. and arrives in Kaohsiung at 6:30 a.m.

To celebrate the launch of the new routes, Vietjet will also give away 150,000 promotional tickets starting from 0 VND from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on October 25–27 on its official website (www.vietjerair.com).
