Vietjet Air begins selling Taichung–Ho Chi Minh City flights from just NT$600 starting January next year!

Vietjet Air today announced the launch of ticket sales for its Taichung–Ho Chi Minh City route, with one-way fares starting from around NT$600 (US$19).The route will commence operations on January 15, 2017, to meet the demand for business and tourism between the two cities. With this addition, Vietjet Air will increase its Taiwan routes to five, covering four cities, making it the airline with the most Taiwan–Vietnam routes and Taiwan destinations.

The Taichung–Ho Chi Minh City route will operate four flights per week, with a one-way flight duration of 3 hours and 15 minutes. With the addition of this new route, Vietjet Air’s Taiwan routes will increase to five, and its Taiwan destinations to four cities. Currently, Vietjet Air operates the Taipei–Ho Chi Minh City, Taipei–Hanoi, and Tainan–Ho Chi Minh City routes. On December 12, it will launch the Kaohsiung–Ho Chi Minh City route, and on January 15, 2017, the Taichung–Ho Chi Minh City route, offering affordable travel options for both business and leisure travelers.
