Introduction

Adventure Wonderland Park (also known as The Wizard of Oz Park) is built next to a large artificial lake. The park’s most important attraction is the snow house, where Malaysians who have never seen snow can experience a winter wonderland, complete with ice slides, snowmen, and a small ice-skating rink. Other lake activities include boating, water skiing, and surfing. Another attraction is the Little Animal Kingdom, where visitors can take photos with baby elephants, snakes, and parrots. The small amusement park also features thrilling rides such as roller coasters. The highlight of the park is the musical fountain show that begins around 8 p.m., where water dances to Malaysian and movie music, creating a spectacular scene. This is followed by a laser light show projected onto a giant screen above the fountain, showcasing Malaysia’s national scenery and a message from the Prime Minister. Later, the “Water Fantasy” show features colorfully lit rafts slowly gliding across the lake—an ideal photo opportunity.
