Introduction

In the valley below the hillside of Lakeside Park facing the lake, sika deer from the Netherlands stroll in the cool shade and often approach visitors to be fed. Near the stream by the valley, there also live some chevrotains from the rainforests of Malaysia. They are the world’s smallest hoofed animals but are clever and witty, and very popular with locals.
