The official name of the Cup Noodles Museum is “The Momofuku Ando Instant Ramen Museum,” also known as the “Cup Noodles Museum.” Located in Minato Mirai, Naka Ward, Yokohama City, it is an interactive experience-based museum that is popular with visitors from around the world.

The museum was created to commemorate Momofuku Ando, the founder of Japan’s Nissin Foods, and is divided into nine distinct zones: the Instant Noodles History Cube Exhibition Hall, the Momofuku Theater, the Momofuku Research Lab, the Ando Momofuku Historical Exhibition Hall, the Creative Thinking Box, the Chicken Ramen Factory, the My Cup Noodles Factory, the Cup Noodles Park, and the Noodles Bazaar. The Instant Noodles History Cube Exhibition Hall displays a variety of instant noodles starting with “Chicken Ramen,” showcasing over 3,000 noodle package designs and an extensive collection of exhibits that trace the historical development of instant noodles. The Ando Momofuku Historical Exhibition Hall uses a 58-meter-long panoramic screen, interwoven with the era’s background and vivid illustrations, to present the life story of Momofuku Ando. It connects to the Creative Thinking Box, exploring Mr. Ando’s lifelong dedication to food innovation. At the Noodles Bazaar, visitors can sample authentic and delicious noodles from eight different countries, reflecting the variety Momofuku Ando encountered during his exploration of the world’s noodle origins on the “Noodle Road.” Modeled after an Asian night market, this area offers a celebration of global noodle culture.

The Cup Noodles Museum gift shop sells a wide range of exclusive items only available at the Yokohama Cup Noodles Museum, including products designed by the renowned Japanese graphic designer, creative director, and art director Kazuo Koike.
