Japan’s new luxury train travel! Izu sightseeing train sets sail in Yokohama, Japan

The long-awaited luxury train "Izu Sightseeing Train" (The Royal Express) has set sail, running between Yokohama and the Izu Peninsula. Travelers who love hot springs must not miss the opportunity to take the train from Japan!

According to the Japan Times, the one-way drive from Yokohama to Izu takes about three hours. During this journey, travelers can enjoy the view of the Atlantic Ocean along the way. The train has a total of 8 cars and can carry about 100 passengers. It is a novel luxury train travel in Japan that has attracted many people in recent years.

In addition to rest carriages, there are also dining carriages, multi-purpose carriages and leisure carriages on the train. Passengers can rent multi-purpose carriages to hold weddings or exhibitions, and leisure carriages have ball pits and libraries for parents traveling with children.

Railway buses provide different travel packages. The most expensive one is a round-trip ticket of 200,000 yen (about NT$60,000), which includes a one-night stay at a hot spring hotel; some round-trip tickets include a mini trip to Izu.
