Liyuan Green Ecological Agricultural Sightseeing Park

Liyuan Green Ecological Agricultural Sightseeing Park is located in the northeastern part of Zhonggaozhuang Village, Xiping Town, Datong County. It is a flagship project of Datong Hongbo Trading Company as it transitions from the coal industry to green and environmentally friendly industries. The park covers a total area of 408 mu, with an estimated total investment of 68 million yuan. Currently, 8 million yuan has been invested, including the construction of one high-lift water tower, over 100 mu of vegetable, fruit tree, flower, and medicinal herb planting areas, one animal farming zone and one rare animal breeding zone, as well as a 10-mu fishing pond. At present, the park has raised more than 500 animals, including sika deer, Landes geese, pheasants, black-bone chickens, and black swans, along with over 5,000 fish, including crucian carp and common carp.

The overall sightseeing park project is expected to be completed by 2010, with plans to develop four major green ecological zones: a natural picking area, a rare species viewing area, a green fishing area, and a life practice area.
