Every autumn and winter, the sweet flag grass around the Lanyang River near the Tayal Bridge blooms successively, with its white flower spikes swaying in the wind like falling snow, creating a silvery-white wonderland—both spectacular and beautiful. For the best photos, visit in the early morning or evening, just after sunrise or before sunset, when the grass glows golden and the lighting and colors are softer and more enchanting.

Taipingshan, located at mid-to-high elevation, has long been one of the best spots for sunrise. Surrounded by mountains, its dense forests and lush greenery frame the rising sun, which illuminates layers of sea of clouds like a fairyland. The simultaneous sight of sunrise and sea of clouds presents a dazzling and magnificent scene.
