The Big Wave Bay Rock Carvings are prehistoric rock carvings in Hong Kong, located to the north of Big Wave Bay on Hong Kong Island. They have been designated as a declared monument of Hong Kong and are also the first declared monument in the territory.

The Big Wave Bay Rock Carvings were discovered in 1970 by a police officer, situated on a cliff by the sea, covering an area of 90 cm by 80 cm. The designs feature abstract patterns of birds and animals, with motifs largely geometric in form. Archaeologists estimate that the carvings were made during the Neolithic period. It is believed that the carvings were created by local inhabitants who thought they could protect seafarers, reflecting their reverence for navigation and astronomy. The site has now been fitted with a protective cover.
