Liushugou Scenic Area is situated in the central part of Shawan, about 24 kilometers south of the county town. It is surrounded by densely populated areas and is the most unique man-made attraction among the various tourism landscapes in Shawan County.

The scenic area features exquisitely designed artificial elements with diverse and vivid forms. Developed progressively according to plan, it is structured around an artificial lake, comprising four main scenic zones: the lake area, forest area, entertainment area, and garden area.

Lake Area: With a water capacity of 13.25 million cubic meters, the lake includes artificial islands adorned with clear-tiled pavilions and well-arranged buildings. These pavilions and towers are nestled within lush greenery, creating a picturesque scene reflected on the water. Visitors can take boat rides to glide across the waves, fish from the stone piers by the islands, or even wade barefoot through the shallows during hot summer days for a delightful experience. Forest Area: In the central part of the scenic area, there is a spacious parking lot and a 150,000-square-meter green belt. Willow trees dance together gracefully, while oleaster trees emit a refreshing fragrance. White poplars stand tall in orderly rows. Strolling through this area, visitors walk on green lawns shaded like umbrellas from the summer heat, accompanied by the chirping of birds, offering a serene return to nature.

Entertainment Area: Located in the middle of the scenic area, it offers attractive recreational and fitness facilities such as basketball courts, tennis courts, volleyball courts, and table tennis rooms. Winding paths lead from the sports fields to gardens and lawns, lined with graceful weeping willows and poplars. During mornings and afternoons, the courts come alive with lively matches and cheerful crowds.

Garden Area: The western part of the scenic area is dominated by flowers, featuring seven well-designed and neatly arranged gardens of varying sizes, covering a total area of 20,000 square meters. This is a world of blossoms, with a rich variety of rare and colorful plants. Bees flit among the flowers, and butterflies flutter by. Within the flower beds, there are lounge chairs, stone benches, and pavilions—perfect spots for visitors to enjoy tea, snacks, and rest. There is also a vast flower cultivation greenhouse spanning tens of thousands of square meters for visitors to admire or purchase plants.

The northern part of the scenic area is the comprehensive service zone, which includes tourist buildings, dining areas, and retail shops. Comfortable and cozy guest rooms, a wide array of goods, and a variety of delicious cuisines ensure that visitors leave with lasting pleasant memories.
