The beaches of Sanzhi, Shimen, and Jinshan on the northern coast are aglow with festive lights — a romantic Christmas in 2014

To welcome the Christmas and New Year holidays, the North Coast & Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration (hereinafter referred to as the North Coast Administration) has specially chosen the Jinshan Shuimei Parking Lot, Shimen Wedding Square, Baishawan, and Sanzhi Qianshuiwan to install festive lighting environments, creating conversation-worthy attractions for visitors during the Christmas and New Year holidays on the North Coast.

Each location features lighting environments with unique themes:

Jinshan
The "Colorful Heart" installation at the Shuimei Vegetation Restoration Area uses heart-shaped lights of various sizes, overlapped and staggered, allowing different “heart-to-heart” views from multiple angles, symbolizing the colorful flavors of love. Paired with driftwood sculptures in various shapes, it adds a lively New Year atmosphere.

Shimen
"Romantic Sentiment" at Shimen Wedding Square showcases oceanic and romantic vibes through blue, white, and blue-purple LED frames, highlighting the wedding square as the most romantic spot along Provincial Highway 2 at night.

Baishawan
"Warm Christmas" is themed around the holiday season, using string lights to outline the silhouette of a coastal forest, complemented by various insect-shaped lights that create a sparkling glow. Together with rhythmic lighting effects, it delivers a joyful and festive Christmas and New Year atmosphere.

Qianshuiwan
"Joyful Winter" uses common Christmas elements such as stars, along with columns of date palms and shrubbery, to create a festive winter ambiance at Qianshuiwan. By showcasing the unique characteristics of each attraction and the rich, diverse natural ecology of the North Coast, a vibrant and colorful winter night landscape is crafted. Visitors are invited to experience the cozy and romantic small joys of a North Coast winter.
