To celebrate the arrival of Christmas, New Year, and the Lunar New Year holidays, the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration has installed outdoor light displays at locations including Sanzhi Shallow Bay, Shimen White Sand Bay and Wedding Square, Jinshan Zhongshan Hall, Wanli Yehliu, and Keelung Lake Bay. From now until February 29, 2016, visitors can enjoy the festive atmosphere every evening from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Each light display site features a unique theme: Sanzhi Shallow Bay’s “Jumping Notes” combines various musical notes with dancing butterflies to create a joyful ambiance; Shimen White Sand Bay’s “Cheers to Happiness” uses insects, animals, and a forest party to evoke a lively festive spirit; Shimen Wedding Square’s “Mediterranean Lovers” presents a romantic scene with blue, white, and blue-purple LED frames; Jinshan Zhongshan Hall’s “L.O.V.E” expresses love between partners and family through large text displays; Wanli Yehliu’s “Embrace of the North Sea” showcases gratitude for the ocean’s gifts with sea-themed decorations and crab lanterns; Keelung Lake Bay’s “Song of the Ocean” illuminates the entire area with blue lights to highlight the beauty of the coastal corridor.
