New Landmark in Tainan: The Blue Print Transforms into a Cultural and Creative Park Entering Trial Operation

The Blue Print is finally back! Located right opposite Tainan Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, “First Judicial New Village” has taken two years to restore and revitalize old buildings, creating the “Blueprint Cultural & Creative Park” (abbreviated as BCP), which officially entered trial operation on December 12.

The newly unveiled Blueprint Cultural & Creative Park has invited 24 cultural and artistic units to set up shop, covering cultural and creative sectors such as traditional crafts, creative figurines, and creative printmaking. The park features three art spaces, including the “BCP Rooftop” on the second floor of the central plaza and the “BLUES 1 Gallery” and “BLUES 2 Gallery” located at the crossroads. In addition, the park has launched a mobile guide app where visitors can check park introductions, event information, maps, and more. After downloading, users can even log in and interact with BLUES for photo opportunities—very convenient.

To give the park a more unified feel, the Cultural Affairs Bureau also invited artist Liu Guocang to create a 3D Blue Print at the entrance. At the same time, artist Li Mingdao designed the park’s mascot “BLUES.” Standing three feet tall, BLUES features LED eyes that can change expressions, making it a real eye-catcher. This adds a vibrant blue atmosphere to the park, and “BLUES” has become a new landmark in Tainan, adorning various corners of the space.
