Shawan County People's Park is located in the heart of the county town, covering an area of 6.9 hectares. The Starlight Night Market runs along its front, surrounded by bustling streets. Since its opening in 1993, it has become a recreational destination offering comprehensive services such as tourism, entertainment, leisure, and social gatherings.

The park features a harmonious mix of trees and flowers, with scenic structures arranged in an artful layout. There are rugged rockeries, pavilions, fountains, a gently rippling lake, small bridges over flowing water, and secluded winding paths, making it the first scenic area established in Shawan County.

In addition, the park offers a variety of entertainment facilities including luxury bumper cars, inflatable toys, ocean balls, trampolines, battery-powered beds, electric sightseeing cars, an open-air dance hall, a roller skating rink, bumper boats, and a folk culture village.

The north gate of the park leads to the bustling Renmin Road commercial street, the largest nightlife district. When the evening glow sets in, the area is filled with the aroma of food, and people of all ages come in a continuous stream, strolling through the vibrant scene.
