The Flower Bed on Renmin Road

It mainly consists of flower arrangements, sculptures, a flood control monument, and an Arch of Triumph. The project commenced in May 2000 and was completed by the end of September the same year. The sculpture "Triumphant Pearl" is located at the center of the flower bed on Renmin Road and stands 12 meters tall. It is composed of 21 sixteen-sided conical pillars connecting three steel spheres of different sizes, with the "Star of Science and Technology" serving as the theme of the entire sculpture. At its base, a graceful halo rises, symbolizing the unity of people of all ethnic groups in the county around the County Party Committee and Government. The Star of Science and Technology represents the strategy of "revitalizing the county through science and technology," while the steel spheres signify the hard work and fruitful achievements of the laboring people.

The Flood Control Monument is located within the flower bed on Renmin Road. The monument is 1999.83 millimeters wide and tall, commemorating the catastrophic flood that struck our county on August 3, 1999. The inscription on the monument was personally written by Zhang Wen Yue, Deputy Secretary and Executive Deputy Secretary of the Autonomous Region Party Committee. The reliefs on both sides of the monument depict the magnificent scenes of the flood rescue and disaster relief efforts at that time.
