Qingshui Bay Ecotourism Area

Qingshui Lake Ecotourism Resort is located 9 kilometers north of Qapqal County in Xinjiang, by the Ili River. It is about 22 kilometers from Yining City and serves as a comprehensive ecotourism resort integrating sightseeing, leisure, and vacation experiences along the Ili River and its valley forests. The resort covers an overall planned area of 1.2 square kilometers, features a scenic river section stretching 10 kilometers, with the river being approximately 0.4 to 2.4 kilometers wide. The banks on both sides are broad and flat, and the riverbanks, floodplains, and midstream islands are covered with lush valley forest and meadow vegetation.

Since its establishment, the resort has consistently adhered to the development concept and functional positioning of “returning to nature and leisure vacation,” actively supporting the construction mission of providing tourism services for Qapqal County. Significant achievements have been made in environmental development, and the resort’s tourism functions continue to improve. Within the resort, there are attractions such as the Crescent Lake Scenic Area (covering 6,666 square meters), Qingshui Lake (outer lake, covering 33,368 square meters), an archery hall, a horse-riding field, a pavilion named Yanyu Lou, a spillway dam, a winding bridge, and four arch bridges. There are also the Crescent Lake Hotel and 10 leisure villas.
