“Yirong Mingxiang Tea” – Gongcheng Tea is produced by Guangxi Gongcheng Yirong Mingxiang Tea Source Co., Ltd. The tea leaves are sourced from the company’s tea bases located in the mountainous areas of Gongcheng County and are carefully selected from the tender tips of leaves harvested during the Qingming and Guyu seasons to produce green tea and black tea series. In addition to retaining the key characteristics of traditional famous teas, “Yirong Mingxiang Tea” – Gongcheng Tea also features purity, long-lasting brews, excellent color, delicious taste, mellow aroma, and a sweet aftertaste. It is not only an outstanding tea for direct brewing but also high-quality raw material for tea beverage production. As green tea is an unfermented tea, its nature allows it to retain more of the natural substances found in fresh leaves, including higher levels of nutrients such as tea polyphenols, caffeine, and amino acids. These natural components in green tea have special effects in anti-aging, cancer prevention, anti-cancer, sterilization, and anti-inflammation.
In 2013, “Yirong Mingxiang Tea” – Gongcheng Tea obtained organic product certification, with selenium content reaching 33mg/kg in green tea and 11mg/kg in black tea, making it one of the richest natural selenium-rich organic teas. It won the Gold Award in the green tea category and the Silver Award in the black tea category at the “10th China-ASEAN Expo Agricultural Exhibition.”
