Baishi Peak

Baishi Peak is located 48 kilometers directly south of Qapqal County and enjoys convenient transportation, accessible via the Yichang-Zhaosu Highway.

The main peak stands at an elevation of 3,475 meters. As a prominent summit along the ridgeline of the Wusun Mountains, Baishi Peak boasts a majestic presence, ever-changing weather patterns, and three closely aligned peaks stretching nearly from east to west. The terrain around the peak area is rugged, with steep cliffs on all sides—most notably on the northern slope—while the summit is relatively open. The peak area features abrupt, exposed grayish-white limestone that forms a white-capped summit. This peak is composed of Carboniferous limestone, appearing grayish-white from a distance, hence its name “Baishi Peak” (White Stone Peak).
