Jikuai Tourist Resort, a national 3A-level scenic area, is located 7 kilometers north of Qapqal County on the banks of the Ili River, approximately

20 kilometers from Yining City. It is a comprehensive eco-tourism resort integrating views of the Ili River, natural lakes, valley forests, sightseeing, leisure, and vacation. Established in

August 2000 with approval from the autonomous region. The resort covers a total planned area of

410,872 square meters, including a moat of 39,996 square meters, a natural lake of 12,245 square meters, a 1,200-meter wooden bridge and corridor over the lake, and 100,000 landscaping trees. The natural lake features a large sightseeing cruise ship, one resort entrance gate, one large swimming pool, one ethnic sculpture viewing area, two European-style villas, one Xibe-style karlun (watchtower), two European-style multi-function halls, one Xibe karlun leisure cabin, a grapevine corridor, and twelve Mongolian yurt replicas.
