Old Town Ruins, [near No.1 County Middle School · built in the 19th year of the Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty (1839) · county-level cultural relics protection unit], commonly known as “Kuonasipili,” originally had city walls with four gates: Yaowu (Show Might), Ying’en (Welcome Grace), Pingxi (Calm the West), and Zhenxi (Guard the West). The walls stood 6 meters high and were 4 meters wide at the top. Officials and wealthy residents lived within the city, where the gates were opened and closed daily at the sound of cannons. After 1936, the walls were gradually demolished, leaving only two remaining sections of the earthen ramparts running east-west: the western section is 8 meters long, and the eastern section is about 30 meters long. The walls contain fragments of blue-and-white porcelain bowls and animal bones.
