After 10 days of hands-on training and track challenges, the "Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the Nation – The Around Tarim ADV Challenge Camp" concluded successfully in Hotan.

This time, off-road track experience accounted for 25%, approximately 670 kilometers, out of a total route of 2,800 kilometers. The off-road sections were mainly designed to include relatively hard surfaces such as canyons, Gobi deserts, gravel roads, and sandy desert terrain. The track experience included: SS1 Wensu Grand Canyon stage, SS2 Kizilsu Gobi stage, SS9 Kunlun Tianlu stage, and SS7 Keriya River stage. While the difficulty level was not extremely high, the intense pace of the itinerary still tested the physical endurance of all participants. Especially the final 120-kilometer pure desert crossing through Daliyabuyi in the Hotan area, featuring complex terrains such as hardpan soil, riverbeds, and soft sand, posed considerable challenges. In the end, 12 riders successfully completed the course, marking China’s first heavy-duty ADV crossing of Daliyabuyi.

The "Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the Nation – The Around Tarim ADV Challenge Camp" event was hosted by the Hotan Regional Culture and Tourism Bureau, and co-organized by Xinjiang Around Tarim Motorcycling Club (Co., Ltd.) and Motorcycle Travel Guide. Riders experienced the vast beauty of Xinjiang along the Around Tarim route, felt the warmth and simplicity of local customs, understood the spirit of the Around Tarim event, and savored its unique off-road culture. On November 1st, they gathered in Aksu—the starting point of the Around Tarim dream—and on November 9th, they triumphantly concluded the ride in Hotan. The event received strong attention and support from the Hotan Prefecture Party Committee and Government. The 24 riders and instructors from six provinces across the country deeply appreciated the simplicity and warmth of the people of Hotan, and were captivated by the region’s unique natural scenery. “Come back to Hotan again” became a shared wish and expectation.

The successful hosting of this event not only provides strong momentum for the development of domestic motorsports but also contributes significantly to Xinjiang’s tourism industry. Moving forward, the Around Tarim ADV Challenge Camp will continue to be held, inviting more people with racing dreams to explore Xinjiang and join the Around Tarim adventure.
