After 10 days of practical training and track challenges, the "Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the Nation – Round the Taklamakan ADV Challenge Camp" came to a successful close in Hotan.

Unpaved track experiences made up 25% of the route, totaling about 670 kilometers out of the full 2,800-kilometer course. The design of the unpaved sections primarily featured relatively hard terrains such as canyons, Gobi deserts, gravel roads, and desert paths. The track segments included: SS1 Wensu Grand Canyon, SS2 Kizilsu Gobi, SS9 Kunlun Sky Road, and SS7 Keriya River. While the difficulty level was not extremely high, the intense pace of the itinerary posed a significant test of endurance for all participants. Especially challenging was the final 120-kilometer pure desert crossing through Daliyabuyi in the Hotan region, with complex terrains such as muddy pits, riverbeds, and soft sand—making it quite demanding. Ultimately, 12 riders successfully completed the course, achieving the first-ever heavy-duty ADV crossing of Daliyabuyi in China.

The "Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the Nation – Round the Taklamakan ADV Challenge Camp" event was hosted by the Hotan Regional Culture and Tourism Bureau, and co-organized by Xinjiang Round the Taklamakan Motorcycle Sports Club (Co., Ltd.) and Motorcycle Travel Guide. Riders experienced the vast beauty of Xinjiang along the Round the Taklamakan route, immersed themselves in the warm and simple local customs, grasped the essence of the Round the Taklamakan spirit, and savored the unique off-road culture of the event. The rally assembled in Aksu on November 1st—the place where the Round the Taklamakan dream begins—and concluded victoriously in Hotan on November 9th. The event received strong attention and support from the Hotan Prefectural Party Committee and Government. Twenty-four riders and instructors from six provinces across China deeply felt the simplicity and warmth of the Hotan people and were captivated by the region’s unique natural scenery. “Come back to Hotan again” became the shared wish and expectation of all.

The successful hosting of this event not only provided strong momentum for the development of domestic motorcycle sports but also contributed significantly to the tourism industry in Xinjiang. Moving forward, the Round the Taklamakan ADV Challenge Camp will continue to be held, inviting more motorsport enthusiasts to explore Xinjiang and experience the Round the Taklamakan adventure.
