The Ancient City Ruins of Agubai in Wensu is a cultural tourism attraction.

The ancient city of Agubai is located 100 meters northeast of Laolongquan in Wensu Town. In the sixth year of the Tongzhi reign during the Qing Dynasty (1867), Agubai's invading forces occupied Wensu and built this city, occupying it for ten years. Hence, locals refer to it as Agubai City. The city walls were constructed along the terrain. No walls are visible on the western and southern sides. The northern wall has a remaining length of 80 meters, with a base width of 2.2 meters and a top width of 1.8 meters. It was built with adobe bricks, and the wall stands 2 meters high. In the middle of the city, there is a 120-meter-long square earthen platform about 10 meters high. Some sections have collapsed. At approximately 6 meters above the yellow earth platform, a cross-section reveals a cultural deposit layer containing animal bone layers, charcoal ash layers, and intermingled pottery and gypsum fragments. In the northeastern corner of the city, there are adjacent adobe-walled structures. These have been identified by archaeologists as official government buildings.
