The Ancient City of Xiayangtage

The Ancient City of Xiayangtage is a cultural tourism attraction.

Introduction     The Ancient City of Xiayangtage is located approximately 150 kilometers northeast of Minfeng County and about 27 kilometers east of the Andir Pasture. This ancient city is a site of ruins, consisting of three parts: a stupa, the Ancient City of Tiyingmu, and the Ancient City of Daozileke. These three sections are roughly distributed in a linear formation, with the core part forming an independent, towering square structure. Its walls are built from clay bricks and remain remarkably intact to this day.

To the southeast, there are two attached smaller cities, and within the main city, there are ruins of residential buildings. About 500 meters to the west lies the ruin of a Buddhist temple stupa that stands 10 meters high. Based on estimates, this site dates back to the period between 206 BCE and 790 CE, roughly spanning the Western Han Dynasty to the height of the Tang Dynasty.
