Yifeng Yingkequan Tea refers to tea produced at the Yingkequan Tea Production Base in Yifeng County, Jiangxi Province.
The production base of Yingkequan Tea in Yifeng County was formerly known as the “Yingkequan Tea House,” which was first established in 1917 by Cai Haisun, a local merchant from Yifeng. The tea shop was originally located on Guanqian Road in downtown Yifeng. Yingkequan Tea has traditionally been known for its floral-scented varieties.
Later, with the invitation of Wang Jianguang, experts from Huazhong Agricultural University were brought in to research traditional tea-making techniques, and surrounding tea gardens were integrated. The brand made a strong comeback and became a century-old tea-making establishment in Jiangxi Province.
Yifeng Yingkequan Tea features tightly rolled leaves with visible fine hairs; the tea liquor is bright and clear; the aroma is fragrant and long-lasting; the taste is fresh, brisk, and sweetly lingering; the leaf base is even and yellow-green.
