Linmu Village is located at the southeastern corner of Shibapan Town, adjacent to the Huaxi Rainbow Grand Bridge on the South Ring Road, which runs around the village. To the east lies the Huaxi Reservoir, and to the north, it is just 3 kilometers from the Tianhetan Scenic Area. The village is now predominantly Han Chinese, with ethnic minorities such as Buyi and Gelao also living there.

Though small, the village is quiet and tidy, with quaint courtyards and lush flowers, trees, and green bamboo growing around the houses. The Dangwu chili produced in Linmu Village is renowned throughout Guizhou, and the villagers are also skilled at making flavorful fermented soybeans.

Shibapan Town: Shibapan Town in Huaxi District is one of the central towns in the district. It is situated to the west of the Huaxi District administrative center, 20 kilometers from downtown Guiyang and 8 kilometers from the center of Huaxi District. The town governs 13 administrative villages, 3 neighborhood committees, and 45 natural villages. Covering a land area of 51.6 square kilometers, it has 13,214 mu of arable land, 22,000 mu of forested land, and a forest coverage rate of 34.1%. The total population is 23,000, of which 18,000 are agricultural residents. The main ethnic groups are Han, Miao, and Buyi, with ethnic minorities accounting for 28.3% of the total population.
