Gaopo Terraces

Category: Tourist Attractions 👁 100 views
The Gaopo Terraces are located in Gaopo Township, Huaxi District, Guiyang City. The terraces spread across the mountains from the foothills to the mountaintop, one after another, layer upon layer, varying in size and shape. Some resemble round plates, some look like gourds, some have the appearance of shoe soles, and others resemble divine turtles. In May, the Gaopo Terraces are like a fair maiden hidden away in a secluded boudoir. When morning mist rises, the hazy mountains and terraces resemble a fairy not yet fully awake, draped in a gossamer veil, gazing tenderly and silently. The vast terraces are like a grand painting crafted by an artist on a huge canvas, stretching from the foothills to the mountaintop, one piece after another, layer upon layer, in all sizes and shapes.
