The Flower House Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Flower House Tourist Scenic Area is located in Pingqiao Village, Huangtan Township, Dazhu County, covering an area of 4.67 square kilometers. It is a comprehensive rural leisure resort integrating flower viewing, fruit picking, fishing, and vacationing, with a focus on agricultural sightseeing and farming experience. The area consists of five parts: the Huangtan Riverside Experience Belt, Agricultural Eco-Sightseeing Zone, Farming Culture Experience Zone, Natural Leisure Resort Zone, and Forest Wellness Zone. The scenic area features nearly 24 main attractions, including Huangtan River, Oil Peony Mountain Park, Ten-Mile Tea Garden, and Lotus Pond Fishing. It presents a tranquil, rustic, and naturally beautiful countryside “paradise.”

Huangtan Township: A township under the jurisdiction of Dazhu County. Established as Caoba Township in 1953, it was reorganized as a commune in 1958, renamed Huangtan Commune in 1981, and became Huangtan Township in 1983. Located in the southwest of the county on the western bank of the Huangtan River, it is 11 kilometers from the county seat. The township covers an area of 23.5 square kilometers and has a population of 10,000. It governs seven village committees: Shaxi, Xima, Sanlian, Gaopai, Motan, Huishui, and Pingqiao. Local enterprises are engaged in coal mining and coking. The main agricultural products are rice, corn, wheat, and rapeseed.
