Yishou Bridge

Yishou Bridge, located at the southern foot of Ma'an Mountain in the county town of Donglan County, spans the Jiuchuan River and is a three-arch stone bridge. It is 38.7 meters long, 8.5 meters high, and 4.6 meters wide. The ends of the bridge have stone steps, and the sides of the bridge deck are lined with stone railings. It was built in the sixth year of the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty (1578) with funds raised by Wei Yinglong, the Tusi of Donglan County, to celebrate his mother Lady Jin's sixtieth birthday—hence the name "Yishou Bridge" (Bridge of Longevity). Research indicates that it is one of the two earliest stone bridges constructed in Guangxi (the other is located in Guigang City).
