The First Bend of the Hongshui River in Donglan is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Hongshui River flows through 115 kilometers within Donglan County, Hechi. Along this stretch of over a hundred kilometers, the riverbanks are lined with lush thorny bamboo and strikingly vibrant kapok trees, making it a true hundred-mile gallery. Taking a sightseeing boat from Pohao and traveling southward along the Hongshui River for over ten kilometers, you’ll reach Banwen Village in Sanshi Town, where the Hongshui River makes a grand bend, forming a large "U"-shaped canyon. Looking down at the First Bend of the Hongshui River from Sihe Village in Sanshi Town, the visible section of the river is about 4 kilometers long, with a width of 300 meters. Towering high mountains rise on both banks, piercing the sky, with a height difference of several hundred meters from the water surface. The scenery here varies with the seasons, and even within a single day, the views are ever-changing. The most classic sights might include clouds swirling and dispersing, crimson skies at sunset, or rainbows arching across the sky after the rain… A spectacular sight, it’s a rare destination for exploration, sightseeing, and discovery.
