Guigang Longyan Cave

Longyan Cave is located on the mountainside of Longyan Mountain, southwest of Daxu Town, about 25 kilometers east of Guigang City. Visitors climb the zigzag stone steps up the mountain and reach the cave entrance at the 111th step. The cave entrance is approximately 4 meters high, with the inscription "Longyan Cave" (龙岩洞) on the lintel, written by Li Tao during the Ming Dynasty's Wanli era. Inside the cave, the space is spacious, bright, and airy, featuring many spectacular sights. Longyan Mountain also boasts Eight Caves and Eight Scenic Spots. The Eight Caves include Long’an Cave (the largest), as well as Tianyan (Heaven Cave), Diyuan (Earth Cave), Shisan Taizi Yan (Thirteen Princes Cave), Zhougong Yan (Duke Zhou Cave), Chengtuo Yan (Weighing Scale Cave), Sanliu Yan (Thirty-Six Cave), and Jiyi Yan (Chicken Wing Cave). The Eight Scenic Spots are: Reclining Dragon, Flying Tiger, Sunlit Reflection, Alchemy Furnace, Stone Chime, Stone Ape, Hanging Fish, and the Scripture Listener. Each cave is unique, with picturesque beauty that never tires the eye. It is a county-level key cultural relics protection unit.

Daxu Town: Daxu Town is a key town in Guangxi. Its central market area is located 16 kilometers from Guigang City. National Highway Nanning–Wuzhou runs through the town, making transportation very convenient. The town administers 18 administrative villages and one neighborhood committee, covering a total area of 159 square kilometers with a population of 89,000. The cultivated land area is 5,000 hectares, including 3,000 hectares of paddy fields and 2,000 hectares of dry land. Major cash crops include sugarcane, longan, and vegetables. It serves as a trade center and agricultural product distribution hub for surrounding towns such as Qingfeng, Wule, Baisha, and Houlù.
