With large crowds expected during the consecutive holidays, passengers are advised to reserve seats in advance and make full use of the convenient services offered by over 10,000 convenience store ticketing locations, as well as the high-speed rail “T-EX Mobile Ticketing” app, to complete ticket purchase and collection early. This allows you to go straight to the platform upon arrival, saving valuable time and avoiding crowded stations. During the transport period, all train services will maintain 3 to 5 cars with non-reserved seating. Passengers holding periodical tickets, return tickets, or EasyCard / iPASS co-branded cards (with auto top-up enabled) can simply tap in and use the non-reserved seating.

In addition, to better serve the needs of passengers from central and southern Taiwan who wish to catch early morning international flights or travel north for business, Taiwan High Speed Rail will adjust its first northbound train departing from Zuoying Station starting October 3 (Tuesday). The departure time will be moved up to 5:50 AM daily (train number changed to 300), with stops at Tainan, Chiayi, Yunlin, Changhua, Taichung, Taoyuan, Taipei, and Nangang Stations. Passengers traveling from stations south of Taichung can reach Taoyuan HSR Station by 7:26 AM and Taipei Station by 7:44 AM on this train. This significantly improves transfer convenience and allows for more flexible itinerary planning. Commuters and business travelers are encouraged to take advantage of this service.
