Tianjin Wang Zhanyuan Residence

The Wang Zhanyuan Residence is located at No. 68 Ziyou Road, Hebei District, and is currently used by the Hebei District Tax Bureau. Built around 1920, it covers a land area of 4,459 square meters with a construction area of 2,256 square meters. The structure is made of brick and wood, and consists of three parts: the main building, the secondary building, and the front building. The main building has three floors, plus a 0 (possibly an error), with a steeply pitched roof, and has a "Π"-shaped floor plan. The middle section of the ground floor features five large bays that serve as reception rooms, the second floor was the bedroom of Wang Zhanyuan, and the central part of the third floor is a hall. The front building has three floors and was used to house servants and guards. In front of the main building is a garden, which includes a lotus pond, rockeries, and other luxurious features.
