The Former Site of the Compagnie de Tramways et d'Éclairage Électrique de Tientsin is located at No. 29, Jìnbù Road, Hebei District, Tianjin, and was built in 1904. It originally functioned as the headquarters office building of the Compagnie de Tramways et d'Éclairage Électrique de Tientsin. In 1937, it was used by the Japanese-controlled North China Electric Power Company, Tianjin Branch, and in 1945, by the Tianjin Branch of the Jibei Electric Power Company under the Nationalist Government in Nanjing. After 1949, it was taken over by the electric power department of the People's Government. The building features a brick-and-wood structure with two floors and a basement. Its architecture is neat, elegant, and refined. It now houses the Tianjin Electric Power Science and Technology Museum.
