Guigang Natural History Museum

The Guigang Natural History Museum is located in the main exhibition hall of the Guigang Garden Expo Park. Its collection was donated by Mr. Li Jiade and primarily consists of fossil specimens and handicrafts such as petrified wood, submerged wood, and shellfish (including tridacna), totaling 1,789 items (sets).

The museum houses three exhibition halls — "Stone Trees – Petrified Wood," "Eastern Divine Wood – Submerged Wood," and "King of Shellfish – Tridacna" — as well as an interactive experience area. The opening of the municipal natural history museum will serve as an important platform for the city to collect, preserve, and promote historical and cultural heritage and natural assets. It will become a “spiritual granary” that enriches public cultural life, as well as a key vehicle for enhancing the city’s cultural appeal and strengthening external promotion. It will play an active role in advancing the development of the city’s cultural sector and in efforts to establish Guigang as a National Civilized City.

The museum features a modern architectural design that incorporates traditional sloped roofs and lotus motifs, highlighting the unique character of Guigang while offering a fresh and distinctive aesthetic.
