Guigang Garden Expo Park is the 11th Guangxi Garden Expo Park. The Guangxi Garden Expo Park refers to the "Guangxi Landscape and Gardening Exposition," a prestigious horticultural event hosted by the People's Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Since 2011, it has been held in eleven locations including Liuzhou, Guilin, Nanning, Beihai, Baise, Wuzhou, Chongzuo, Yulin, Qinzhou, Hezhou, and Guigang.

Guigang Garden Expo Park is located in the western part of Guigang City. The western side of the site borders the West Ring Road, an urban expressway, while the eastern side faces Yingbin Avenue, a major gateway road into and out of the city. To the north lies the planned Jiangnan Avenue.

To the north, Pingtian Mountain serves as a natural backdrop, while to the southeast, the winding Yu River resembles a resting dragon. To the southwest, the expansive Xunyu Plain offers picturesque rural scenery, making the area rich in surrounding landscape resources.

Themed "Ancient Waterfront Town with Lively Lotus Charm," this edition of the Garden Expo created a landscape structure of "one axis flanked by two wings, three belts and sixteen scenic spots," highlighting the culture of lotus flowers. The park covers a total area of approximately 1,246 acres. Built along the scenic banks, fields, and wetlands of the Liyu River, it utilizes the existing natural terrain and water bodies—digging ponds on-site and shaping hills according to the landform—to create a comprehensive garden and horticulture exposition park that showcases landscaping artistry, offers rich wetland ecological experiences, and provides leisure, cultural, and recreational activities.

Compared to previous editions, this Garden Expo highlights four major features: "Ecological Garden Expo," "Technological Garden Expo," "Green Garden Expo," and "People’s Garden Expo." The "Ecological Garden Expo" leverages the beautiful waterfront, field, and wetland scenery of the Liyu River, fully applying sponge city design concepts and new technologies such as rainwater harvesting. It promotes ecological development in landscaping, culture, and transportation, establishing the park as a demonstration zone for sponge city ecological construction. The "Technological Garden Expo" gathers new achievements in landscaping, culture, and socioeconomic development. For the site, landscape, architecture, and supporting projects, it adopts innovative techniques—such as hill-building, water management, vertical greening, and plant transplantation—throughout the park, significantly expanding urban green ecological space and enhancing the technical sophistication of the expo. In terms of the "Green Garden Expo," the focus is on showcasing landscape artistry and urban gardening achievements. It achieves greening, beautification, and fragrant landscaping, creating rich layers of vegetation to improve urban plant arrangements and spatial structures. Large-scale afforestation and the development of a vast sea of flowers help construct a scene where "the city lies within greenery and people are immersed in a painting." The "People’s Garden Expo" positions the park as a key urban landmark. It integrates functional planning, exhibition garden layouts, transportation connections, and facility provisions, concentrating on the construction of public cultural service facilities. These offer citizens a large-scale urban public space integrating leisure, entertainment, and fitness, thereby strengthening public belonging and a sense of gain.

It is reported that during the Garden Expo, a variety of cultural events will be held, including flower arrangement exhibitions, bonsai art shows, calligraphy exhibitions, photography exhibitions, freehand lotus displays, and arts and crafts exhibitions. Additionally, there will be group garden tours and “City Activity Days” hosted by various city exhibition gardens.
