Tianping Mountain Forest Park, a national forest park, is located 20 kilometers from downtown Guigang and is the only mountainous natural scenic area within a 70-kilometer radius of Guigang City. Covering a total area of 16.76 square kilometers, Pingtian Mountain National Forest Park features mid-mountain terrain, with its main peak, Dapingtian, rising to an elevation of 1,157.8 meters, making it the second highest peak in southeastern Guangxi. The park is densely forested, with fresh air and high levels of negative oxygen ions, earning it the reputation of being a "natural air conditioner and forest oxygen bar." Major attractions within the park include a variety of natural and cultural sites such as "alpine meadows, fairy bathing pools, immortal waterfalls, spectacular rock formations, Pingtian Grand Canyon, clear streams with unique stones, clusters of Alsophila spinulosa (tree ferns), high-altitude tea plantations, valley rainforests, South Heaven Gate, stone figures of men and horses, and the ruins of Huang Sanli's fortress."
