Shikeng Village

Nestled in tranquility amid the hustle and bustle, Shikeng Village boasts beautiful surroundings where humans and nature coexist in harmony — a world apart. The villagers have a long tradition of commerce, with cities like Chongqing, Kunming, Guiyang, and Nanning serving as their stages. Despite having less than half a mu of farmland per capita, every household owns a building, and there are over 30 cars in the village. A clear stream meanders along the road, and there are springs flowing gently at both the eastern and western ends of the village. The water is crystal clear and never dries up throughout the year. The villagers are committed to protecting the water sources from pollution. The village is covered with trees, and rows of lush greenery and elegant bamboo line the streams. At the back of the village lies a small park spanning over 10 mu, filled with towering trees, including more than a dozen ancient camphor trees that are over a hundred years old.
