Site of Yidongtian Cave The Site of Yidongtian Cave is located at the southern foot of Niuwangye Mountain, east of Yingjia Street in Yingjia Town. It is a limestone cave with an opening facing southeast, about 7 meters above the ground at the mountain base. The cave entrance is over 10 meters wide and 3 meters high, extending

more than 50 meters deep inside, and is divided into inner and outer sections. The cultural deposit layer is primarily located in the outer cave, appearing grayish-brown and firmly cemented. Surveys and excavations of the deposit layers have uncovered relics such as spiral shellfish, animal bones, burnt soil, stone tools, and pottery fragments. Artifacts collected from the cave include polished deer antler spears, bone beads, struck whetstone flakes, cord-marked pottery shards, deer teeth, and fossils of animal bones. It is a relatively clear and well-preserved Neolithic human site.
