Milky Way Wenfeng Pagoda

The Milky Way Wenfeng Pagoda is a cultural heritage protection unit of Chenzhou City.

The Milky Way Wenfeng Pagoda is located in Tangchi Village, Yinhe Township, Guiyang County, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

In 2012, it was designated as part of the third batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Chenzhou City.

Protected area: starting from the base of the pagoda, extending 50 meters in all four directions.

Construction control zone: extending 80 meters beyond the protected area in all four directions.

Located on the north bank of the Chunshui River, with its township seat at Chazishan in Changjiang Village. Yinhe Township boasts beautiful mountains and rivers, and the vast expanse of the river. The large-scale water conservancy facility in southern Hunan, the Ouyanghai Irrigation District, meanders from west to east before turning north within the township, forming a huge flat lake with over ten major branches. It provides more than 1,200 acres of water surface suitable for aquaculture year-round. Six out of the seven administrative villages in the township border the Chunshui River, and there is also one small Type I reservoir and five small Type II reservoirs.
