Shantian Village: Shantian Village (Shangtian Cun)

The village lies with low hills to the east, mountain ranges to the west, and rice paddies in between—hence the name “Shantian” (Mountain-Rice Village). It is situated in the northwest of Heye Town, bordering Shuibian Village to the east and south, Maoli Village of Fangyuan Town to the west, and Wantang Village of Taihe Town to the north, approximately 7 kilometers from the town government. In December 1978, it was separated from Shuibian Brigade to form Shantian Brigade, and in June 1984, it was renamed Shantian Village.
