The Poetry Wall Museum

Changde, formerly known as Wuling, has a history of over 2,000 years and has long been regarded as a land rich in cultural relics. In recent years, with an investment of 108 million yuan from the state, a poetry wall was constructed along a 2.92-kilometer-long flood control embankment to promote outstanding traditional Chinese culture and strengthen patriotic education. It is named the “China Changde Poetry Wall.”

The China Changde Poetry Wall showcases a collection of contemporary Chinese poetry, calligraphy, and fine art masterpieces engraved on a single wall. It is hailed as the world’s longest integrated poetry, calligraphy, painting, and engraving art wall, and has been recognized by the Guinness World Records.
