Wuling Farm Cherry Blossom Season Begins！ Taipei-Wuling 4-Hour Cherry Blossom Shuttle Still Has Seats

This year’s Wuling Farm cherry blossom season runs from February 6 to 22, lasting 17 days. In accordance with past practice, the Directorate General of Highways has planned special bus routes for the event. The public can take the shuttle buses from the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Taipei West Station, Taipei City Hall MRT Station, Yilan Transfer Station, Yilan Sanxing Sports Ground, Yilan Jiuliao Visitor Service Center, and Lishan to Wuling Farm. Additionally, due to traffic control measures, visitors must obtain an accommodation pass, a tour bus group pass, or use public transportation to enter the controlled area.

During the Lunar New Year holiday period, tickets for the shuttle buses from Taipei and Yilan to Wuling Farm have been selling briskly. Currently, only a few seats remain available for the period from Little New Year (February 6) to the first day of the Lunar New Year (February 8), while all other dates are fully booked. It is recommended that those planning to visit check with the various ticketing stations of Taiwan Tourist Shuttle, as well as the three major convenience store chains — Uni-President, FamilyMart, and Hi-Life — for available dates, routes, and schedules, and proceed with ticket purchases in advance.

As for visitors traveling from Lishan, please purchase your bus tickets and park entry tickets between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. on the evening before departure at the Lishan Visitor Center. Furthermore, according to the Central Weather Bureau forecast, temperatures at Wuling Farm will be relatively low during the Lunar New Year holiday period. In the event of snowfall or icy road conditions affecting driving safety, the shuttle buses will be suspended. For those affected, passengers departing from Taipei or Yilan may apply for a refund within 30 days through Taiwan Tourist Shuttle, while those departing from Lishan may contact Fengyuan Bus for a refund.

The Directorate General of Highways urges the public wishing to visit Wuling Farm to view the cherry blossoms to use public transportation. In addition to avoiding the fatigue of long-distance travel, this also helps preserve energy to fully enjoy the beauty of Wuling’s cherry blossoms.
