Act fast if you want to see them—the Wuling Cherry Blossom Season has been extended, and there are still seats on the cherry blossom shuttle buses during the 228 Holiday.

The 228 Holiday begins on the 27th, coinciding with the peak blooming of cherry blossoms at Wuling Farm. To ensure overall recreational quality and smooth traffic on Provincial Highway 7A during the 228 Holiday, the Directorate General of Highways and Wuling Farm announced on the 19th that the traffic management measures for the Wuling Cherry Blossom Season will be extended until February 29 (Monday). The relevant transport arrangements will largely continue with the existing model, namely the “on-site crowd control, road traffic control, group visitor reservation system, and public transport shuttle” — four key transport measures. There are still available seats on public transport during the 228 Holiday period.

During the cherry blossom season, Wuling Farm enforces a daily crowd limit of 6,000 visitors, including 1,800 staying guests and 4,200 day-trippers. Of the day-trippers, 1,000 are group ticket holders and 3,200 are individual passengers using public transport. Additionally, Road 124, which connects to Wuling Farm, will have round-the-clock traffic control during the cherry blossom season. Only vehicles with passes issued by Wuling Farm—held by staying guests and pre-booked group visitors—are allowed entry.

For day-trippers, to offer more diverse options and services, the Directorate General of Highways has planned six shuttle routes: 【Taipei Main Station – Wuling Farm】, 【Taipei City Hall Bus Station – Wuling Farm】, 【Yilan Bus Station – Wuling Farm】, 【Sanxing Township Sports Complex – Wuling Farm】, 【Jiuliaoxi Visitor Center, Datong Township – Wuling Farm】, and 【Lishan – Wuling Farm】. Tickets for routes departing from Taipei and Yilan can be purchased at nationwide Kuo-Kuang Bus service counters and convenience stores (7-11, FamilyMart, Hi-Life). For the Lishan route, tickets are sold from 6 PM to 8 PM on the evening before departure at the Lishan Visitor Center.

Currently, there are still available seats on public transport during the 228 Holiday. The public is encouraged to use public transport to travel up the mountain and enjoy the cherry blossoms. The Directorate General of Highways advises visitors planning to go to Wuling Farm to check the relevant control measures in advance and plan their trips carefully.
