Changde Happy Water World has become the world’s first island-based water theme park, featuring internationally innovative concepts, an exceptionally large scale, and top-tier domestic facilities. Under the initiative of the Changde Municipal Government to support the Rise of Central China and build a comprehensive reform pilot zone for a “Two-Oriented Society,” and guided by the strategic vision of the Hunan Provincial Government to vigorously promote new urbanization, the park was designed by a world-leading planning agency and is operated by the nationally renowned Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Town Group. With the goals of “ecology, culture, and joy,” it stands as a premium attraction introduced to the Central China region.

Located in the Liuye Lake Resort, renowned as “China’s No. 1 City Lake,” Changde Happy Water World covers an area of approximately 200,000 square meters. The project centers around water culture, integrating ecological landscapes, cultural elements, and high-tech water attractions. It combines modern thrilling water entertainment on par with Europe and America with advanced scientific spa concepts, aiming to create a new Central China tourism landmark that boasts regional characteristics while aligning with international amusement trends.

It features over 10 cultural landscapes such as the Silver Beach, Time Tunnel, and Music Plaza Fountain. It boasts 21 top-tier water attractions that lead the world, including the globally popular interactive water castle—the Interactive Water Fort; the world’s largest magical interactive water village—the Happy Water Village; the king of water speed competitions—the Vertical Slide; the drop-style high-speed water slide—the Giant Loop; and the deep-sea whirlpool experience—the Beast Bowl. It is dedicated to becoming a leisure tourism destination with unique core strengths. Additionally, surrounding the water park is a 2,000-acre vibrant flower sea comparable to Provence, planted with lavender and tulips.
