Back Garden of Zhangjiajie

The Back Garden of Zhangjiajie is located to the east of Huangshizhai in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. It is a bright and open valley dotted with dozens of stone peaks connected by small bridges, earning it the reputation of a "natural bonsai." These stone peaks come in a myriad of shapes, with streams winding around them. The valley is lush with flowers and trees, filled with birdsong, serene and elegant. Towering ancient trees cover the mountains, and clouds and mist are pervasive. The two gently arched entrances of the "garden" were formed by the collapse of massive stone walls, creating perfectly round double arches that resemble moon gates. When sunlight directly shines into the valley, the stone peaks take on fresh green and crimson hues, creating a refreshing and delightful sight. On rainy days, the clouds and mist spread like the sea, with the mountaintops swaying as if in a royal garden from ancient times.
