Reunion Tree

Located within Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, as you stroll along the Golden Whip Stream, you’ll come across a tree over 10 meters tall. Locals call it the “Reunion Tree.” This tree splits into two branches 50 centimeters above the ground, then forms a “sky bridge” where the branches meet again at a height of 5 meters.

The “bridge” is 70 centimeters long, with “piers” on both sides, and in the middle it also grows two smaller branches, lush with leaves and branches. Perhaps for the sake of “ambition,” in their youth they buried their feelings deep down and went their separate ways, but once they had achieved success, they reunited to enjoy their later years together.
